Where Have I Been?

This should be the new name for my blog!

I do have excuses....

As you all have read over and over again about my cataract problems and it's woes...

Add a CRASH OF MY COMPUTER!!!!! June 14th to my already mountain of woes!

My Hard Drive CRASHED!!!!!!

UNRECOVERABLE are words you never want to have to hear...

ESPECIALLY if your livelihood DEPENDS on it!

ESPECIALLY if you haven't backed-up your work since Feb.23!

Happily my Ex and I still talk to each other cause he came to my rescue and got me back up running again the very next day.

Only he couldn't restore ALL OF THAT LOST WORK!

Because this IDIOT kept putting off doing the back-up needed to ensure not losing it!

Remember me telling you all of the tire-kicking estimating that I had been doing and wasn't getting paid for it cause it was JUST estimates....

Well the majority of the "Just estimates" were lost, they were NEEDED not long after the crash...

Go Figure!

Which meant they all had to be redrawn all over again!

Not great news for someone with failing eyesight!

All of that wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't for them all having a time limit!

Most was for the town's 100th birthday July 23. The town's Rec Director had made a push for getting advertising for the arena which would hold the ceremonies. Perfect for advertising which I was getting in on too.

Let me tell you....all of the signs did get done in time! Thanks to a hard working PoD and LONG hours!

Only they NEVER did get put up in time for the big event!

The lazy Rec Director never got around to it and from what reports I have heard he had PLENTY of time to do it?

Thankfully that wasn't my fault but my customer's are slow in paying for those signs BECAUSE of that fact of NOT getting their advertising that was promised! Guess it's Always MY fault!

During my work frenzy I missed updating my blog with useless info that's only important to me but have come to learn that it's an important memory tool for me too!

A lot of the lost info and important dates were recoverable because of my trivia drivel on my blog. I have used past stories to revive the info not filled in scrapbooks that haven't been updated either!

I'm very anal about recording stuff!

Only have to learn to get anal about UPDATING IT!

My Blog is kind of like a diary for me and really isn't meant to be there to entertain others in the world, which I really don't have to worry about seeing as only a few ever comment...;{

Things I did miss while the work frenzy was going on was attending Wilma's 40th birthday bash held in a hall not far from my house. It happened soon after my crash and I wasn't in any party mood...nor was PoD.

Happy Birthday Wilma....better late than never, I say!

Did have a gift for her that ended up in the dump! It has a weird story...

Seems I always find time for Garage Sales!

During the town-wide one I came across this gorgeous oldish looking mirror with neat ornate edgings...kind of gave me an idea about a mirror for her bar in their basement. The mirror was in excellent shape and even the backing looked kind of new like? The owner even said that she never hung it cause it never fit anywhere. My intent was to embellish it with a funny quote in vinyl somewhere on the surface area.
When I got the mirror home I stood it up facing my cutting machine and computer. It stood there for two days before a work day.
Right from the start we had problems with the machines. The computer didn't want to start? The cutter moved when it wasn't even turned on and both PoD and I witnessed it! From the moment I had brought the mirror into my place I had a dislike for it? It felt strange? Jokingly I said to PoD that it must be the mirror spooking the machinery and felt the urge to remove it from the place. So I put it outside in my storage vehicle with my Halloween decorations and forgot about it.
When I came back in, PoD said all was back to normal with the machines after I had left with the mirror...? Coincidence?
A few days later I went to retrieve the mirror to put the wording I had prepared for it, on it, when I found that the frame had broken away on the bottom. The frame was still stapled to the cardboard backing and that was still attached to the rest of it? The mirror had not been broken...just the frame and there was no way to pull it apart the way that it was without breaking the mirror. It had been a bit warm outside and was possible that the mirror could have expanded enough to force the frame to split...but why only one end?
I got a cold chill up my spine when I saw that and thought it through enough to cause me to question whether I wanted to give something with an odd aura about it to a friend not to mention ever wanting to have it around...so to the dump it went with a cleansing performed over it to make sure that the weirdness didn't hang around after it left!

The decal is still here for her if she wants it...:)

Anyways...

Other important info needed to be recorded was the fact that I have lived in this place now for 4 years...my the time has flown!

The grand kids left for their 3 week visit with their Alberta relatives on June 28 and that left exactly 3 days to work on getting Grad together. This meant rounding up lights and wrapping poles. I had shown in an earlier post the diamond theme this year and had big plans on making lots of cardboard ones....that never happened due to our rush.

The end result was because of a dream of someone else who had the courage to go it alone on the planning of majority of the decorating...

The entrance way table was her idea but the archway was mine. This was the last area to be decorated and was hastily put together. By the time we got to this spot all were tired [except for me] of decorating and it showed. But by then all didn't care either...except for me

The theme did not match the decoration theme? But how would one do that by that dumb saying anyways? I'm glad this was off to the side and not too noticeable.

This what the stage looked like. The bags on the floor in front of the head table all had the kids name on them and wasn't my idea either...:) This to hold all of their goodies?

The big diamond that sits in the center is a posing stool and is for their photo op after the ceremonies. The kids came out from the curtained area to the right and paraded around the stage then down the steps to their seat. The little shoes that you see in the foreground were done by me

The above photos shows the hall layout and their table centerpieces. The most awesome thing to me were the blue origami folded napkins that each held a peppermint patty in the center. This woman made over 200 of them...happily with no help from me!

Surprise of all surprises I have NO Orbs to point out to you all lurking on here...

This all my eyes can stand for now...I still have July to catch up on and that will include photos of the town's 100th, our HUGE parade, our float and even a Paranormal Investigation on the 29-30...this kills my eyes and gives me a headache so it may be slow

And maybe an update on the Darkside Zodiac for Cancer then one for Leo...

So stay tuned...:)

THE GAG IS FINALLY LIFTED!

The only thing was, it was tied around my brain instead of my mouth!
Here I was crabbing about [to myself & kids] on "why" won't blogger let me blog, when it was the fault of the damn viruses that hit me around Xmas time...nice present NOT! My son was able to fix my computer woes by doing what ever the hell that he does to them...make any sense? I was happy to be able to work again...not that there was too much of that...;( Worst was I couldn't blog! Something he knows nothing about the workings of it so he couldn't say what was wrong! Nor did PoD! I had stories to tell...pictures to show and NOTHING could be done! WHO DO YOU CALL.... Nope....not Ghost Busters...;}

You try and figure it out....yourself! Yup...me got a brain storm...in the middle of our miserable snow storms!

Why not look it up on here....?

First of all, one has to be able to get on here in the first place...so it wasn't all my fault...;{! All I had to do was read and COMPREHEND what they were saying!

:O

Go figure Huh! Pushing sixty and it's never too late to learn something...;)

Something about changing my settings? I figure it happened then? He has to come back home again [not sure when that will happen] to fix the scary parts that really caused it. I still have a fear of clicking the wrong button so I won't go there! ANYWAYS.... It is way too late after Xmas to want to post the office pictures [unless you beg for them...:}] and believe me I tried to many times and couldn't!

Xmas came and went...we all had fun and were well for a change! The present I played with the most was my new "Game Camera"! Still trying to figure out where to put it. I know for sure that it doesn't work well [the batteries die] in the cold! Great for inside...I have discovered that the cat likes to walk all over places where she's not supposed to be...;} Work has been starting to get busy right now which is strange for a January with me. Normally my slow times are from Xmas to April/May. The town's Centennial is coming up in July and the one who are on the ball are starting now, which is great for me. I hate last minute jobs and have figured that's what will happen...seems I might be wrong One never knows... Main topic around these parts lately it the AMOUNT of snow we have right now... One is aware that it is winter and that we do get snow here... Only thing is, we haven't had THIS MUCH in a LONG time...

This is from ONE of MANY storms we've had lately! It's been shovel, shovel, shovel, shovel.... After one pushes their way out the door....

One just gets finished and it starts all over again!

No these aren't Orbs...just snow and more snow and more snow

I did manage to get Xmas taken down and put away. I left up the pine garland and lights for Valentines...

Which will appear as soon as I get a chance once more...

Not pushing my luck here...

I have also been trying to comment on your posts too but the gag was in place there too...

Hopefully I can do that...

I'M BAAAAAACK!

Maybe...?

Who knows for sure....

Good start.....hmmm

What have I been up to you ask?

BEEN BUSY TRYING TO WORK FOR A LIVING...taking one step forward and five back! Kind of like dancing with myself...;{

I haven't felt much like boring myself by re-reading my all woes, let alone bore the world with them! This year will go down as the all time worse for me yet...financially and health wise. Not really complaing because I know things can and do get worse if I do. So I am taking it one day at a time!

One reason I am writing is that this was to be my 4th year writing this blog and today is it's anniversary! Better trying again than not! Besides I miss venting my frustrations to the world....

So once again I will start anew...

As most all know from media headlines that this year, Saskatchewan's summer, is now known as "Saskatchewan's Summer That Never Was"!

Being one that lived through it...it was true!

Women's fancy shoes nearly came to this...

Happily it never got that bad...;}

But what was happening was this.....

day after day after day after day....

get the picture!

Until one day tragedy struck by the way of horrendously high winds...

the "Death of Creep Hollow"

I had covered him with an umbrella to help protect him from these elements but it was my undoing too. The wind was strong enough to lift him up and slam him onto his face. My son and I were able to get him turned over but decided to keep him flat on the ground. Sadly this got him soaking wet as my garage and surrounding area got flooded too!

This is resting grounds for now...someday I will resurect him [minus the arms] and he will be good as new if not better!

As for the rest of the rains.... it made things grow all over!

Grass and weeds just loved it...so did the mosquitoes!

They became bigger...

Everything grew except my beets, which I had planted out front because of all of the sunlight there and I could keep an eye on them?

I had grown spinach and char there last year and they grew great! I  loved the look so I decided to grow beets which are one of my fav veggies along with peas. The peas were grown along the side of the garage and they did really well there.

The only thing bad about the peas was the fact that I have become allergic to them fresh picked? If I pick them and eat them on the spot without washing them, my mouth/tongue and throat would become numb and swell up? If I washed them...they were okay? I don't use any chemicals or sprays so that wasn't it. I had noticed this happening before with snow peas, so I must be allergic to the chlorophyll from them? If that's possible? Grandkids got them so I guess not alls lost

Did spend many days before the rains re-doing my sidewalks in hopes to make my place look nicer and not so dumpy. They turned out okay but became over ran with different types of weeds that made walking on them dangerous!

The town is having it's 100th anniversary next year and are encouraging all to spruce up their places so I did manage to get the front painted in between the rains!

Barely!

I had planned on finishing the garage door but the weather never cooperated and now it's getting too cold!

I still have to put the awning back on just as soon as I recover it.

I had planted my sunflowers and sweet peas too late and they didn't get to bloom much...birdies will have to do with out my sunflowers to eat. I did get one small sunflower [no seed] and 3 sweet peas

As I said business did pick up a bit. Most of it is designing which either brings in work or as things turn out...not much.

What I did get was TENNIS ELBOW....which baffles me cause I don't play it!

Yah...I know it's caused by rapid finger movement which causes the tendon to hurt. Thank you to computers! This movement is unavoidable if you want to operate one! So now it has to stay wrapped which hurts either way....wah, wah, wah

Don't forget the baby toe I tried to kill off 3 months ago! Reports are in that the stub toe turned out to be cracked and now the crack won't grow together...one now has to worry about infection getting into the bone? Still waiting on that one....wah, wah, wah

Lots more to report but that's it for now.....

Also like to thank BJ and Jeanie/Marvin for showing concern over my abscence along with my bro/sis-in-law's constant reminder to stay in touch here...

So stay tuned...I do have some interesting weirdness to tell too and one goal is to do this daily....once again

I HATE TECHNOLOGY!

It makes me so mad to have to depend on it sooooooooo much!

I haven't been blogging like I want to because of this supposedly advanced crap stuff!

I. WANT. TO. BE. ABLE. TO. UPLOAD. PHOTOS!

What ticks me more is my inability to be able to understand all this techno doo doo!

We computerized in 1991 and there wasn't any program like "Windows" to help things go smoothly [?] like they [are supposed] to do now.

There was the evil little word like "dos" to contend with.

I couldn't learn "dos" either!

It was a great thing for the kids to learn because they now understand the workings of this evil machine better than the ones that are totally dependent on "Windows" [might be a different word that I don't know about but I'll go with this one...it's obviously the only one I know].

My Ex was the one who started my fear of this technology!

He used to love mucking around with "dos" and would crash the computer on a regular basis! Crash it so badly that we should have moved the computer guy to our place...that's how much he did it!

This was hard on my nerves because all of my drawings and business info was stored inside of this "wonder" machine! This fear got so bad that I wanted to scream every time he came near it! So I became fearful of pressing the wrong command button!

So that's one of the reasons I make a paper copy to file away! It will never replace the actual work done but if all is lost on the machine I'll at least have something to work with. But that is the old way!

We did manage to find ways to do "back-ups" but one has to remember to "do them"!

It's kind of like playing with fire if I don't!

But this fear of crashing the "wonder" machine has stuck with me!

I have a tendency to over think things! The English language can be interpreted so many ways!

Most of you out there are so creative with all of your fancy borders, headers...etc, that it ticks me off!

If I make any changes on here it's a miracle to me and sad to say one that sometimes cannot be repeated!

Like me being able to add my profile pic to those whom I follow, yet I cannot seem to figure out how to add same pic to my comments? Some comment titles are pretty witty...frig if I know how to change mine! Don't bother telling me about the "help" command...been there done that!

I'm a frustration to my kids! They have tried many, many, many, many times to teach me. I've even got them to write out the commands step by step! But do think this brain of mine would accept it..........NO! I over think their instructions!

The only thing I am proficient at is my drawing program! Only because I had no one to teach it to me, aside from the computer guru who initially showed me how to start it, it was all my knowledge! But I still don't advance any further in it's updates...too afraid to screw up what's been tried and true?

The sad part is...that was 19 years ago!

This is one old dog who is afraid or can't learn these new tricks....;(

BUT

I'd like to think I could still learn new stuff....so I am attempting to figure out another new "wonder" machine.

It is a machine that was made for the "scrap booking" enthusiasts?

Who would have thought scrap booking would become so popular that they would invent a machine to cut out all of those little do-dads that they use to embelish their memories? Its called a "Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter".

This machine is like our vinyl cutter only on a smaller scale. The difference being it can cut thicker material than our does. We got it to have it hopefully add more to what we can do. All I need is my imagination...which is endless.

Time will tell whether I can do this or not...

It does come with a video...

Seems I can remember better with what I've seen rather than what I read...

Guess I've got that same comprehension problem that my kid's teachers were always complaining about!

BEEN BUSY!

Things have been a tad busy around here this past week!

LOTS of designing/estimating to do. I call this down time, "NO MONEY" time...but very necessary to my success. Estimating means your in the bidding area but doesn't mean a paycheck for the time lost! There are a lot of tire kickers right now. I don't lose many bids...if I do, its because of the massive amount of time spent on idea thinking/putting to paper.

It's been a roller coaster ride lately! No work means depression = food = weight gain = depression = sweets = sugar too high = depression =.....

When its slow...I eat [see reasons above]
When I'm busy...I'm too tired to eat right [I could have spent the down time preparing meals for busy times but I would eat more doing them?]

I WANT THE OILFIELD TO GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

That's my favorite part of the job. Hardly ever need to design or do estimates! Plain & simple!

AND PHYSICAL!

The work that I have done...I have to WAIT for them to pay me...?;(

My foot has been healing nicely but sitting at the computer for hours make my feet swell....

Any kind of work involving standing makes my feet swell...

Can't go for a walk my feet swell...

Grad committee [heavy hitter] cajoled me into doing decorations again so brain is into designing hell...

Gothic wedding decor coming along great making it a happy whine...

PoD & Family has gone away for the long weekend...;(

Whine, Whine, Whine!

If I don't watch it I'll get SWHINE FLU!

But...Hey there is an UP-SIDE to all of this whinery...

I SOLD MY BUILDING!

That headache is finally over...all I have to do now is wait for the money...

I've got a really good meme to do from Blue and it's called "10 things that you have never bought" and it has me realize that there isn't much that I haven't bought and even less that I want to admit to....

Hmmmm....

Stay tuned...

AWB...Question?

As previously mention on yesterday's blog, about "Animals With Blogs", I forgot to ask why some of them, who talk silly [like their animal would talk that way if it spoke], why would they?

Is it to give them an accent, ie: Siamese cat, Chihuahua..etc?

If they really thought about it [like I obviously have], their animal was probably born in their country. Unless you are a foreigner, why would your animal be?

Don't you call them your fur babies? It would only stand to reason that any of my off-spring would talk like me! I have native blood in me but don't speak the language, so why would of my Siamese cat speak like it's Chinese or Siamese?

I'm NOT being racial or anything, just wondering about the logistics of it?

I know...picky, picky, picky!

IS it really being creative?

I for one, avoid those ones who do talk that way...too hard to understand...?

And wouldn't you worry about someone who had a child who spoke that way?

Hmmm?

AWB

Animals With Blogs

Through a Blogger Buddy [Blue] I became aware of a new way to submit your story/ideas. People who talk through their pets?

When I first read them I though WTF?

Are they nutso?

Then I looked at them from a different perspective and found them to be quite inventive. Most were too way out there for me and now I only visit a select few.

One day I decided to try it for myself and blogged through my cat Suki. I must say I [she] had more followers through that blog than I do on this site? Her following became even larger when the word went out that she was ill.

Do people with pets care more for other pets than they do for the humans who own them?

Because your blogging as an animal, you care more?

The animal blogs that I follow come from Suki's blog "Doodie". These were the ones who showed the most interest:

Jackson [dog] - He was the first follower. He's an energetic Terrier [not a favorite of mine] and loves to destroy toys. He makes me smile! It was touch and go for him for awhile as he has health problems and I visit his every so often. I'm trying not to become attached?

Oscar [dog] - I had just started on his site when he suddenly passed away! It sucked me in long enough to feel heart broken? I enjoyed the way his owners took pride in his up bringing and their joy of being with him, he was their child. So when he died it bothered me that they were able to replace him so quickly? I know that I shouldn't judge others by the way that I feel but it bugs me when people say "it's ONLY an animal". Some of these animals are their children..."I wouldn't want to replace one of mine so quickly"! I don't visit there anymore.

Marvin [dog] - I like labrador dogs [not my neighbor's dog] and find their faces to be quite kind looking [except my neighbor's dog]. Generally a gentle dog [not my neighbor's dog]! I like his writer's style. She can be quite comical and even leaves a comment on my blog...what's not to like about that! My other blog friend BJ has a black lab also [Willie] and she adds pics/tales about him which I find adds to her blog line. I love both of theirs. I would still read their blogs after their animals pass [hopefully not soon].

Daisy & Harley [cats]- Guaranteed to make me smile! She's a clothing model! He's a new addition...a undercover dectective? Very, very inventive and entertaining. I've never seen a cat who doesn't mind being dressed-up like she does. I normaly don't like seeing animals being dressed up except for Daisy. Her "mom" doesn't make her go out into public...it's more of a modeling gig, meant for show. She should be paid for wearing those outfits...:) Some of it is the other additions like, "Mr Shrill", Lizard, Snail...etc that carries the interest for me. I dread the day that Daisy passes!

Miss Peach [16 yr old cat]...she reminds me of Suki [not the same breed] and who is just about as fragile looking as she was. Her story teller is quite artistic and very inventive. I love the "fru-fruness" of her site. Sadly Miss Peach is not well! It's like going through losing Suki all over again! She makes me cry lately [not all of the time] and I like to leave hers til the end of the day. I dread the day that she passes!

I'm real sappy when it comes to emotional issues and it tends to bring me down a lot! So reading about their lives/antics daily, one finds themselves [me] becoming attached and when they pass I find that their pain is mine also. I can't help that!

So why do I follow them if it bothers me so much?

Will I ever talk through animal again?

Right now.....NO!

But...
Maybe we should all take a look at life through our pets eyes and put ourselves in their place!

I got to know my cats better by doing that but in turn fell deeply attached to something that is guaranteed not to be around for very long! I feel too much sometimes!!

But later...who knows?

To ALL you AWB...keep up the entertaining blogging!

Count me as a fan!

Runny eyes and all...;)

I'M BACK?

As per the request for me to continue my blogging by my brother Tank and sister-in-law, SewLady...I will give it another try?

Update soon to follow....

300 th POST

Today marks another mile stone for me! Who would have thought that I could rant/rave/blather about that many things...granted many of them are about my health problems. I really haven't given a lot on what things there are, that bug or or impress me too much, but maybe I will do more of that this year?

I even managed to do more posting [33] as my cat, Suki, who by the way has a bigger following than me. It took me a long time to do her blog, as reading other animal blogs made me feel like they came off to me as wackos? Then I realized that I could be just as wacko as them and believe it or not it makes me take the time to imagine the world through her eyes. Not too mention how I treat my other cat. I have never been mean to them but very neglectful of how they play an important part of my life! I still have some constraints on how I speak through her and haven't as yet planned virtual parties and such...but then who knows?

I'm making myself get in touch with my inner child and just maybe I can teach me to lighten up!

It's a start....

ps: Not worry...I don't plan on dressing the part....

BLOGGER PROBLEMS

For some reason the computer I was using to blog on no longer lets me? I'm using my ancient machine to type this one out and it's unreliable at best!

All is still busy here at work and having to sit at the computer all day long makes me not want to sit there any longer than I've wanted to!

Will be continuing soon....

Bear with my blogging woes...

BLOGGERED DOWN...

This week has been pretty busy for me here at work! So busy that I haven't had time to drop a few lines on my blog! I would have been more inclined, to post more, if I had any response to what I blog about from the lurkers that do drop by to amuse themselves! Then I realized that I had nothing to say to amuse myself...thus the hole in blogging...after all this is MY record for ME...lurkers CAN choose to remain silent...I DON'T care!!

WEATHER UPDATE...

Relentless hurricane-type wind on Wednesday...cold and biting to the bone!
Rainy gloomy day on Thursday...
Nice fresh morning today...TGIF
With the cold I said there was no bugs...I forgot about the creepy maple bugs! They are every where this year! Everywhere I look I see another on of these crawling on something...did I mention how much I hate bugs!!!

HEALTH UPDATE...

Tired....headaches from thinking and designing too much....
Cold....gone! Do have the usual fall sinus problems...

PLAY PRACTICE...

Finally found that I CAN walk and talk at the same time...lines are now memorized! Still in a confusion on what my outfit is going to look like? Set is still not up...but is NOT my problem...I have to keep reminding myself that! I do have some ideas on how to do it but will butt out and let someone else deal with it...or not? I tried to keep my brain from designing the set but years of too much building wouldn't let me! So if somebody needs help.....?
There's only 16 days left before our first performance!

HALLOWEEN...

Putting up decor where I live this weekend...shop is pretty well finished for what I wanted to have up there...the wind on Wed kept blowing the door open and played havoc with my decor so I had to keep repairing that...thankfully it was inside and not out!

SADNESS...

Yesterday PoD and I took her cat Maxie to the vet to find out why he stopped eating, drinking and was having problems with his mouth/jaw. PoD thought it might be an abscessed tooth or sore throat? Diagnosis was jaw and throat CANCER! Blood tests sent away will show today how bad? Hopes are that dosages of "steroids" MIGHT help but odds are that he might be too far gone! Keeping all digits crossed and hoping that waving "magic health wand" will help! Won't know outcome until after 4:30 today...will be a longgggg day!

Now you lurkers know what I know....

Oh by the way....there's only 19 days left until Halloween!

NEW BLOG

I've been reading a lot of blogs lately and enjoyed the ones that are animals with blogs. This is where the story is being told through the eyes of their pets. Dogs are DWB and cats CWB. I found it particularly strange to read at first and thought that they had lost their marbles until I realized that it's just another style of writing...kind of like narrating in the first, second or third person but instead being another creature. It's kind of weird looking at your life through the eyes of someone/thing else?

So I decided to give it a try!

I have given speech to one of my cats... who if could really talk, this might be what she would say. Anyone who has met her has found her to be very vocal and can be quite annoying when she wants to be noticed! I've always remarked that Suki always wants to put in her 2 cents worth and will keep bugging until she does! This is a trait of Siamese cats and they have many sounds for all situations. The reason I haven't done one with Thumber is that she is not a vocal cat unless it involves her "treats" or if the littler box needs changing. She has different vocalization for these things, other than that she is quiet! But I'm pretty sure if she wanted to say anything it would be how crabby her great, great grandmother is towards her!

So I have given Suki her own blog and it is called "Baby Doodie" which is a pet name I call her when she is being cuddly. Of course I didn't set it up...PoD did! We all know how inept I am at that sort of thing. She did have her own problems in some parts as we weren't able to give Suki her own profile because it kept changing mine...we have obviously done something wrong in the set up? You can access it through my "Links" section. Also "Blue has given Suki a nice send off also and a DWB -Jackson from Jasckson's World has already contacted her on her site! That's better than I've been able to accomplish!

So hopefully I can keep up both?

How can you tell I don't have a life?

TOO OLD TO LEARN NEW TRICKS?

When it comes to most technology I have to admit that I am pretty inept!

I have been able to teach myself the drawing aspect of the program used in my computer [which I'm pretty proud of] for my business and can manage some other programs, just as long as there isn't a lot of computer technology needed. I rely pretty heavily on my kids for that sort of thing.

It's the start-up needed for doing these things that confuses me and this brain refuses to absorb it! One example is that I would like to start a new blog that involves my cats blogging...you know CWB. Believe it or not I was stopped by needing a URL name...what the hell is a URL? PoD set up this one and I watched her do it but obviously went right over my head! Where does one find that list that explains all of these confusing commands and that it is written in such a way that it is understandable by inept people like me? Example...Wilma gave Blue some info on linking sites....zoom...went right over my head!

At lot of my problem is that I am afraid to try these things because every time I do try, I end up wrecking something! I have to use PoD's computer to blog on, as mine is no longer able to do so...I keep getting "Fatal Error" when I try! That happened after I tried to switch from the "old style blogger" to the "new style blogger" and all hell broke loose...lost commands that caused errors. Since then PoD has told me to leave those things alone and let her or BillyRoo do it for me!

I HATE not being able to do these things for myself...I HATE waiting for someone to help me...it grates against my "Jill" abilities not mention that everyone one else seems capable and I'm NOT! Grrrrrrr!

I guess I should be content with being able to upload a photo even though I'm clueless on how to set them up properly and not having them go all over the place! I'm lucky that I was able to post some kind of picture for my blog...but it didn't go where I wanted it to though! I wanted it to come up when I comment on blogs...just like Wilma's does! Even that's too complicated for me!
So, if someday it looks like I quit blogging...I didn't...it's because I screwed something up so badly that even my kids couldn't fix it!

200th Post...

Hard to believe that this is my 200th post...never thought I'd write so much. This is a great moment for me as I am REALLY not one to share my thoughts!

BUT this is the NEW ME!

Blogging has been my way of doing therapy! I am a true Aquarius with all of the Aquarian quirks and being a loner is one of them!
I'd like to thank the "Orbs" [dots] for letting me know that there are people out there who do check in to read my [sometimes] daily babble and this lets me know that "I'm not just talking to myself"...not that this is a bother for me! I check my blog fairly often so I'm probably most of the dot people being counted! I'm my worst critic!
I do have some faithfuls that comment back and I would like to thank them the most...I appreciate all comments good or bad! Aside from an occasional comment from PoD, I hear nothing from my family...we're too dysfunctional to care about what the other is doing and I'm just as bad! Although if any of them had a blog I would read it and comment on it! I've learned to live with it...at least they get to know how I am doing!
Don't know if you've noticed but I try to have a cat picture or some other type of photo to express what my mood is at that moment when I blog [this for those who don't get the pic] just in case I don't make my mood clear enough. It's part of my "dry" sense of humor.
Reading back on some of my posts I find that it sounds like I am quite a negative person...I'm not really...I just happen to have a lot of negative crap going on in my life right now and any good things that do happen have been very few. Believe me I would let you know when there is a good one!
So for all of you, my faithful fans [or bored readers]...keep dropping by, I'm bound to have something good to say ....one day!

BLOGGER NEWS

I can finally blog AGAIN [now that I have said that all will go wrong]!

I hated feeling like I was being censored [can we say paranoid] and after years of having no one interested in what I had to say it was refreshing for me to blabble away...even with no feed back! This way I can pretend that someone is listening and I am not just talking to myself!

Got smart and wrote out other info so all I had to do was copy to here.

I did find another blogger site and had planned on dumping this one if things didn't change. The other site would at least give me the ability to post pictures! Maybe I will continue with this one or do both?

WTF

I've been trying to blog since my last time and all I have been getting is ERROR!

What a way to get you hooked on something and then take it away!

Keeping this short as I am sure that I will be ERRED AGAIN!

Most likely this one will work and then I will have wasted my only chance...

Color me FRUSTRATED!

NEED HELP!

Calling all computer literate people....need help please! I'm missing commands needed to up load images.

What do I do?
............besides go screaming mad when I want to add a photo!

Problem #1.....

When I click on the pic button [upper right] it brings up the pop-up frame with the commands needed such as: "add an image to your computer", "add another image from the web"& "choose a layout" but I am missing the buttons that say "add image" and "cancel".

Problem #2.....

There should be an "up load " button to the right of "add image" button...it's missing?

These problems occurred when I switched over to new blogger.

Need to add photos for my "Orb Section.....Seeing is Believing" so please

....Anybody out there???

TALK ABOUT LEARNING SOMETHING NEW TODAY!

Being bored I decided to check out how others blog and what they yak about.

Man did I get an eye opening!

Stupid naive me thought everyone blogged the same...you know general ideas!

There is some real crap out there!

Don't know why I worried about coming off as weird...I am actually kind of on the normal side compared to the crap I just previewed.

I know its "each to their own" but boy oh boy there are some f__ked up stuff!

Go onto the main page on bloggie here and keep hitting the "next blog" button.

It's seems anything is allowed on here!

I got an eye opener about "hot docking"!
Hate to admit not knowing everything but I definitely did not know anything about that! Don't bother asking me what it is because you are going to have to look that one up for yourselves! Warning...this is not for young eyes!

My grand kids are NEVER going to use my computer for looking up blogs!

Random looking gets you porno, nudity, racism, Nazism [if that's such a word] and who knows what else because I gave up after awhile!

Bloggie desperately needs to modify its blog search and separate itself into different sections!
1. Adult Content
2. Interests
3. Languages

I believe in the freedom of speech but let me also have the freedom of choosing what I want to hear/see about!!!

I have DOTS!
There is even one far away....guess I better liven up my blogging!
Who thought someone could get so excited from Dots!
I know they probably were just browsing but who cares!
I am working on one about Orbs but its taking more time to put together than I'd imagined...I don't want to come off as TOO crazy!
But everyone who sees my blog probably thinks that anyways...so I say who cares!
See me soon...you wonderful dots.
I now know I am not just talking to myself...seeing as hardly anyone ever post comments!
Color me ecstatic!
