Where Have I Been?

This should be the new name for my blog!

I do have excuses....

As you all have read over and over again about my cataract problems and it's woes...

Add a CRASH OF MY COMPUTER!!!!! June 14th to my already mountain of woes!

My Hard Drive CRASHED!!!!!!

UNRECOVERABLE are words you never want to have to hear...

ESPECIALLY if your livelihood DEPENDS on it!

ESPECIALLY if you haven't backed-up your work since Feb.23!

Happily my Ex and I still talk to each other cause he came to my rescue and got me back up running again the very next day.

Only he couldn't restore ALL OF THAT LOST WORK!

Because this IDIOT kept putting off doing the back-up needed to ensure not losing it!

Remember me telling you all of the tire-kicking estimating that I had been doing and wasn't getting paid for it cause it was JUST estimates....

Well the majority of the "Just estimates" were lost, they were NEEDED not long after the crash...

Go Figure!

Which meant they all had to be redrawn all over again!

Not great news for someone with failing eyesight!

All of that wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't for them all having a time limit!

Most was for the town's 100th birthday July 23. The town's Rec Director had made a push for getting advertising for the arena which would hold the ceremonies. Perfect for advertising which I was getting in on too.

Let me tell you....all of the signs did get done in time! Thanks to a hard working PoD and LONG hours!

Only they NEVER did get put up in time for the big event!

The lazy Rec Director never got around to it and from what reports I have heard he had PLENTY of time to do it?

Thankfully that wasn't my fault but my customer's are slow in paying for those signs BECAUSE of that fact of NOT getting their advertising that was promised! Guess it's Always MY fault!

During my work frenzy I missed updating my blog with useless info that's only important to me but have come to learn that it's an important memory tool for me too!

A lot of the lost info and important dates were recoverable because of my trivia drivel on my blog. I have used past stories to revive the info not filled in scrapbooks that haven't been updated either!

I'm very anal about recording stuff!

Only have to learn to get anal about UPDATING IT!

My Blog is kind of like a diary for me and really isn't meant to be there to entertain others in the world, which I really don't have to worry about seeing as only a few ever comment...;{

Things I did miss while the work frenzy was going on was attending Wilma's 40th birthday bash held in a hall not far from my house. It happened soon after my crash and I wasn't in any party mood...nor was PoD.

Happy Birthday Wilma....better late than never, I say!

Did have a gift for her that ended up in the dump! It has a weird story...

Seems I always find time for Garage Sales!

During the town-wide one I came across this gorgeous oldish looking mirror with neat ornate edgings...kind of gave me an idea about a mirror for her bar in their basement. The mirror was in excellent shape and even the backing looked kind of new like? The owner even said that she never hung it cause it never fit anywhere. My intent was to embellish it with a funny quote in vinyl somewhere on the surface area.
When I got the mirror home I stood it up facing my cutting machine and computer. It stood there for two days before a work day.
Right from the start we had problems with the machines. The computer didn't want to start? The cutter moved when it wasn't even turned on and both PoD and I witnessed it! From the moment I had brought the mirror into my place I had a dislike for it? It felt strange? Jokingly I said to PoD that it must be the mirror spooking the machinery and felt the urge to remove it from the place. So I put it outside in my storage vehicle with my Halloween decorations and forgot about it.
When I came back in, PoD said all was back to normal with the machines after I had left with the mirror...? Coincidence?
A few days later I went to retrieve the mirror to put the wording I had prepared for it, on it, when I found that the frame had broken away on the bottom. The frame was still stapled to the cardboard backing and that was still attached to the rest of it? The mirror had not been broken...just the frame and there was no way to pull it apart the way that it was without breaking the mirror. It had been a bit warm outside and was possible that the mirror could have expanded enough to force the frame to split...but why only one end?
I got a cold chill up my spine when I saw that and thought it through enough to cause me to question whether I wanted to give something with an odd aura about it to a friend not to mention ever wanting to have it around...so to the dump it went with a cleansing performed over it to make sure that the weirdness didn't hang around after it left!

The decal is still here for her if she wants it...:)

Anyways...

Other important info needed to be recorded was the fact that I have lived in this place now for 4 years...my the time has flown!

The grand kids left for their 3 week visit with their Alberta relatives on June 28 and that left exactly 3 days to work on getting Grad together. This meant rounding up lights and wrapping poles. I had shown in an earlier post the diamond theme this year and had big plans on making lots of cardboard ones....that never happened due to our rush.

The end result was because of a dream of someone else who had the courage to go it alone on the planning of majority of the decorating...

The entrance way table was her idea but the archway was mine. This was the last area to be decorated and was hastily put together. By the time we got to this spot all were tired [except for me] of decorating and it showed. But by then all didn't care either...except for me

The theme did not match the decoration theme? But how would one do that by that dumb saying anyways? I'm glad this was off to the side and not too noticeable.

This what the stage looked like. The bags on the floor in front of the head table all had the kids name on them and wasn't my idea either...:) This to hold all of their goodies?

The big diamond that sits in the center is a posing stool and is for their photo op after the ceremonies. The kids came out from the curtained area to the right and paraded around the stage then down the steps to their seat. The little shoes that you see in the foreground were done by me

The above photos shows the hall layout and their table centerpieces. The most awesome thing to me were the blue origami folded napkins that each held a peppermint patty in the center. This woman made over 200 of them...happily with no help from me!

Surprise of all surprises I have NO Orbs to point out to you all lurking on here...

This all my eyes can stand for now...I still have July to catch up on and that will include photos of the town's 100th, our HUGE parade, our float and even a Paranormal Investigation on the 29-30...this kills my eyes and gives me a headache so it may be slow

And maybe an update on the Darkside Zodiac for Cancer then one for Leo...

So stay tuned...:)

SKIES ARE A LOT BRIGHTER...

Well for at least a little while...work has slowly started

All of the old sayings held true for long weekends...especially this weekend...

"Wait 5 minutes and the weather will change"

It did!

Many times!

We went from "oh my god it's SO FRIGGIN' HOT OUT HERE... and if you smile at me one more time, cause you like it, I'm gonna hit yah", type of weather

to..."what the hell it's cold/rainy enough to turn the heat back on...

to it's SNOWING!

?...that leaves only June and July that I haven't seen it snow....

I'm so happy that I wasn't away camping like most of the fools people from here were...;)!

AND the town was SO QUIET!!!!

The town kids like this weekend to do some "partying at the lake" so I enjoyed that part of this labor day weekend!

My plans were to plant sweat peas in the front under the awning and sunflowers along the side of the garage.

Maybe kill some ants along the way...

Sounds easy...it wasn't...as usual!

Both had to be prepped...

Under the awning I had made a walkway [2009]out of re-cycled bricks salvaged from the pile left in the back yard. The old woman that previously owned the place had placed these old bricks along the length of the garage and fence at the other side. So I had made the pattern the same...only it was too narrow and hadn't quite finished it.

The plan was to remove the bricks from the side of the garage and use them to expand the walkway...

Last weekend I got my grand kids to do that heavy stuff like breaking up the soil and removing the bricks...;)

But I did all the rest...

Which sounds easy...but WASN'T!

I liked the look so much better but wasn't quite satisfied...

Another thing that annoyed me was how narrow the walk was up to the door. The crumbling concrete slope is unfix able due to the pine tree next door [the soil is too acidic and eats away at the concrete] and is a hazard so maybe some added width on the other side?

Not to mention cutting back on the weed growing area...;}

Did I mention the rotten weather?

The 2 day torrential rain did help soften up the weed bed and I was able to sink the bricks into the muck...did I mention I love playing in the mud...;}

I must have been great entertainment  for the neighbors across the street...this chubby old lady putting something on the ground then jumping on it or trying to balance on one leg...;}

Did I mention it was raining...

The snow did finally drive me inside!

And the sun did finally shine...

For, I was able to do this later...

Did manage to tucker out with only 2 more feet to go.

DIDN'T manage to get the seeds into the ground yet.....ran out of steam!

Did I mention ants?

The ants have started marching in one by one lately...

I think I live on an ant hill!

THEY! ARE! EVERYWHERE!

One of the reasons on the walkways are to stir up the colony the lives around my front entrance. I've put out bait traps but they give me no visual satisfaction. But BillyRoo found these little beauties that causes me great joy....

WARNING ANTS WERE HARMED IN MAKING THIS PHOTO!

Can't express enough my joy in seeing that!

Sorry you bug lovers...but this way is more humane on the birds who might catch the ones that carry the poison bait back to the hill...so see I'm still thinking on some ways to not harm birds.

So I managed to do some labor on labor day

Got a sore back

No seeds in the ground.....

Maybe next weekend....

Oh...I managed to get some garage sale items too...

Hope you enjoyed your time off.....;)

WEEKEND GARAGE SALES

It was scorching hot out this weekend!

There were two sales in two days...a wild weekend for me...;)

Saturday found me driving around the small town north east of us [20 min drive] looking for their sales. Amazingly there were 8 places to go. Alas there really wasn't anything for the wedding/grad decor that I could use. I did find 2 cute dragons for the goth wedding.

For my Xmas collections, I found a large Santa [same size as my big fancy santa which was over 200.00] for only 2.00 still in its original box! Other than that my only other buy of interest was 2 metal Egyptian vases for PoD. I did find lots of little things to add to my other necessities and there was even some goodies that I brought home for BillyRoo.

In all I spent around 25.00.

I had spent my morning trying to paint the wrought iron from this old ugly green gazebo [bought in a garage sale], black. Well this paint is making me sick! It is an oil base so it stinks, that's why I have it outside. Between the early morning heat, the rapid eye movement [using roller & brush] and the smell...ended with me throwing up! No warning, nothing! Happily it was just dry heaves...but bad enough to make me quit!

A little rest, some food and I was back to normal...?;)

So Sunday morning found me trying to paint again!

This time I was a little smarter. I had tried to paint the wrought iron while it was standing when I should have laid it down. It worked much better and I was able to paint one more corner before the sun decided to do it`s thing to me! Again I had to go in and lay down.

Sunday`s garage sale was in another town south east of us another 20 min. This one had just as many sales but nothing of interest to me. Lots of baked goodies so BillyRoo as got his sugar fix and something for AJ but boy stuff for JD wasn`t to be found! I got something for Trebor so he should be happy...

In all I may have spent 35.00 (40.00 in gas) this weekend and did enjoy the driving around. I even enjoyed talking with all of those who participated in these sales, which aside from work I never get out to see that many people.

The downside...I think I got too much sun!

No sunburn...I was prepared for that!

I feel like I have a touch sun stroke as my first waking thought this morning was to go throw up!

I`m writing this in my well moments but do feel the need to go lay down again!

I just have one more thing to do before I do.....

Hopefully you are feeling more like your OLD self SOON!

HAVE A GREAT DAY WILMA!

I DID MY BEST!

It's Saturday...8:45 am

All that build-up for our town wide garage sales turned out to be mildly disappointing for me!

The "land of loose" managed to scrape up 33 places to go to...ours was a dismal 16! I kept telling myself that it was better than the 3 last weekend...;)

But we are larger than them! Our businesses weren't advertised as participating, but they sure got to profit from the increased customer traffic! The odd thing was, they normally do? I thought it bad that they had more sales inside that day than normal!

They didn't get any of my money!

The morning turned out to be ARCTIC COLD! I would even include a wind chill factor! There were times that I wished I'd brought mini mitts with me! I felt sorry for the sellers who had to brave the cold [it stayed cold too] until 4:00!

Our only "treat/baking sellers", that I saw, was this child around the age of 6 or 7. He sat there shivering, trying to sell his cookies and iced tea. Not one to pass up any sugar on these ventures [excitement/over exercising makes mine go low] I bought 10...2 FOR ME and two each for PoD's family [who happened to be there at the same time]. It was too cold for the iced tea! There wasn't any baking like cakes/squares any such either? My son, BillyRoo, likes these as his treats...so nothing for him. The cookies weren't that great.

PoD's day [we crossed paths fairly often] went from smiles to..."do you want to take my husband with you...he's like you", kind of day! She said that the next time she goes, it's by herself! The kids are like him/me too...:)

BUT, I KNOW WHAT SHE MEANS!

I had fun doing it alone, but it would have been nice to go with someone who understood the nature of the "garage sale beast" and had it in them also...like my sis "Buttons" did. I did find two small "Halloweenie Beanie" collectibles; a black "Fraidy" [me], me & an orange "Scard-e" [her] cats that sat on the dash as I did my journey...I know...I'm crazy...

I did find some real steals and deals!
The majority sales this time were ones that WANTED to get rid of their stuff AT ANY PRICE!

[I've been trying to add pics and can't...?]

I was able to pick-up a cut-off saw, belt sander and small hand router for 19.00...these went to Trebor. I paid 2.00 for a rolling cart that guys use while working under vehicles & 50 cents for a small dolly for the business. I tried to find sewing stuff and materials for AJ [12, she's taking up sewing and wants to design clothes] because she got a sewing machine for her birthday. Found some doll/toy patterns for her to practice on. There wasn't much for boys so JD missed out again. PoD got some exercise stuff [joke] for her "gym" collection...;)

As for stuff for grad & wedding.....10 cents for a large plastic blood-red vase.

One real find [for me] were the 12 glasses [prairiegold box for 2.00] to add to my "blood red" glass set! These will house my LED tealights for the head table decor in the "goth" wedding.

Added to my Santa, Snowman, Masks & Halloween collectibles...5.00

I even bought a cute [used once] 40.00 purse for 2.00!

All this and a few odds & ends for under 40.00!

The wierd thing on the day was PoD's and my timing on our meet-ups?

I was sitting in my [son's] vehicle getting ready to pull out to start the day... to go get the map. She pulls up beside me and we both head for the map start point. We then went our seperate ways.

She drove away I stayed for the three booths that were right there. I had already cased the others out and felt this was the better deal. Turned out I was right!

We met up again at the cookie place in time for them to get cookies.

We didn't meet again until my last stop which also turned out to be theirs!

11:30 am...done?

The start point was selling coffee, hamburgers, hot dogs & pop so we had lunch in the cold!

Boy was I happy to get home and after putting the stuff away [sort of] I tried to find some heat!

Spent the rest of the day trying!

My plans had me needing to paint the metal on my archway, black, [it's an ugly green right now] today! That was out of the question....to frigging cold for it to dry outside and I've no room in to paint it, plus it's oil based & smelly! I could have strung vines on lights for my poles...too cold in garage...too hard to work with coat on! No room inside!

Took the rest of the day off and huddled under a blanket in front of the electric heater!

I did enjoy the garage sales and seeing the people...

Maybe next year's will be better...?

A GSALE-ING I WILL GO!

It's our Town-Wide Garage Sale today!

This time I'm going by myself!

Not that I didn't like going with GSBuddy...she's got company today and it's family related.

PoD doesn't like my demands on driving/parking/hurrying.....

BESIDES... I JUST LIKE MY OWN COMPANY SOMETIMES!

Will be leaving shortly [7:00am] to drive around and scope out my plan of action....

STAY TUNED FOR THE TREASURES....

GARAGE SALE RESULTS...

I was too exhausted after yesterday's events to blog about it...trying to keep you on pins & needles waiting to find out...:)

Besides...I had to play with them first...:)

Should have had taken my camera along, as the selection of buyers wandering around, was for my entertainment [bad karma], some being more entertaining than others with...a variety of dress too!

The day started out quite chilly, so I decided to layer my tops and keep the pants long! One not [usually] dressing for style while hunting for bargains. Some others felt different.

I don't know how this one woman managed to get up that early to do her [helmet] hair, full make-up, perfumed [stayed away from her], sparkly clothes [liked her top] with long manicured nails...kind of sticking out like a sore thumb...[meow]:)

Some came in PJ bottoms [I know it's the rage] one even wore her housecoat/slippers [it was a joke...I hope]/coffee. All she needed was curlers in her hair with a smoke hanging out of her mouth...you get the picture...:) Come to think of it she even looked hung over....dedication or what?

Rain tried to dampen the day but only ended up annoying the sellers..."garagesailors" who "weather through" will, in any kind of weather! The day did end up "sun-shiny" and warm! I was happy to have layers to peal off!

All looked and acted like they wanted to be there [even coffee lady]. I saw some that looked like they were dragging their spouses and others [like us], looking like they wanting to bowl others over that were getting in the way...:)

Some town kids were smart and hauled a cart around to carry their "booty"!

I ran into "literly" my grandkids while they did their "sailin". At one place this kid said "hi gramma" I had to narrow my "scanning glaze" to this face stuck in front of me...it was my grandson's! I had forgotten that they were going to be there...I kind of get "tunnel vision"?:). My grandkids have grown up so much that it's hard to know what they are into [besides video games]. My grand daughter is somewhat easier as she's into the "girly" stage and we both like shiny stuff and there was lots around. I got her 2 outfits that she picked out...AJ was happy. Boys are so much harder and JD wanted items that might involved stitches [ie: skateboard] later or PoD's wrath...:) I got him a mini Sask Roughrider Helmut/Radio/headphones [never opened] keepsake...kind of lame. A pretty [new looking] metallic cigarette/business card case for PoD or a whimsical "bear" fountain/ornament for her garden [or could go to my sis] area.. Sadly nothing for Trebor...;(

JD gave me one of his puffwheat squares...he knows his gramma needs sugar...:)

That's another thing I like about small town sales is the "kid's goodie stands"....these are the cheap refreshment/snack areas and the monies states that it goes to the kids who man them. Some sellers offer coffee for free or cheap. I never worry about buying these items in a small town...I'm not so sure about the cities. The ones that I have attended never offered this service.

As for getting what I wanted? No Red, Black or Burgundy?

I managed to get gold stuff, creamy color lace [old looking] and workable items for both functions. Added to my "chest" collection [keepsake holders for my memento hand-downs] & winter collectibles...santas & snowmen/flakes [$7.00].

The tables I enjoyed the most were the "FREE" items.

Garage sales are meant to get rid of your junk and hopefully make some money but more so, to free up space! There were those that were there just to make money...which might be the new way to go if the economy doesn't change. I still preferred the CHEAP sales!

Here's some of the stuff I got:

The rose bowls were all free and they were type that I needed...they had to have the ruffled edge.

The chest [$2.00] will get a make over...not too crazy about the flowers. I will be painting over them with black/burnished gold accents. After using it for the events [holder for the hand-outs] this will go to Billy Roo for his mementos.

The birdcage [$5.50] will become the card holder for the wedding cards/wishes for both events . I got 14 brass napking rings for [$5.00] which will go on the head table. I wanted a white slim-necked vase for the main flower arrangement near the cake and I found one thats an irridecent white/a mottled look, making it look a bit eerie [great for the "dragon" theme]...it only cost @1.00! 2 bags of metallic shreaded stuff [.50] for table centerpieces. Black metal mesh basket/heart handles for the overflow of cards or hand-outs [.25].

Other stuff: Musical Jewelery Box [2.00], Radio Shack cup warmer [a MUST for me] [.25], stool for drafting table [2.00] and some clothes [1 long summer dress, 2 glittery blouses].

Yesterday was: spending quality "friendship" time with an old pal, people watching, "prairiegold" finds, useful items...all for the price of $40.00!

SO.....

WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE ENJOY THIS.....?

MAYBE I SHOULD BE HAPPY THEY DON'T!

MORE FOR ME....:)

Dodge is having their's June 6th but GSBuddy figures we should hit another town that is having their's 1st one sooner!

...so I wonder how many sleeps til "Lizned's"?

"LOCKED & LOADED"

ready to go GARAGE SALE...ING!

GSBuddy is picking me up at 8:30 am, in her TRUCK and we are heading out to the land of luse for their annual "Town Wide Garage Sale".

We get together once a year [she's the only one I have contact with from my "couples only" time] to hit this yearly event.

It's about the size of a 10 by 10 block area in a big city, but to a "small town living" person, it's a gold mine! Usually it's a one or two in town every weekend sort of thing, so one looks forward to this. Ours happens in a few weeks.

I promise to control myself
[I can hear PoD saying..."yeah right"]
and TRY not to spend too much...;)

MY PLAN:

I would like to find LOTS of CHEAP stuff that is either dark red, burgundy, gold &/or black that I can use for my "Gothic" wedding decor and a "50th" anniversary/98th birthday celebration decor that I am doing in July & August. I'm not sure if they want me for the grad decor as NO ONE has gotten back to me... so I've decided that it's too late for them.

Son wants a large satellite dish [not those huge ones], I need something to house lots of movies but not too big, decor for the garden...

Hope it's a BIG TRUCK.....:)

Is it 8:30 yet....

DODGE'S TOWN-WIDE GARAGE SALE

The morning started at 4:20 am for me and at 5:45 am I started up the hill to PoD's place for her "first ever" garge sale. The morning was already warm and the air was full of the scent of lilacs..which was very nice. But half way up the hill my allergies kicked in making breathing very hard...with my nice sweet diabetic breath the mosquitos came out in droves to feast on my sugary blood! Gasping for breath and itching from bites I dragged myself to PoD's place! Thankfully she had two types of inhalers and the weaker of the two helped to open the airways! Coffee was already brewing so it helped also! Going through this makes me very weak and stress works on the sugar levels which in turn helps to make me very crabby!

PoD was also not in a very good mood either as she had only gotten 2 hours of sleep so our day started out on a poor note!

Hairgirl and I had added our stuff also so her sale became a "3 family" sale. With all of the stuff we had...ours was the biggest [everyone else's comment]! We had hairdressing stuff, furniture, collectibles, toys, costumes and even the kitchen sink [actually 2 bathroom sinks].

But first the stuff had to be displayed and priced for the sale! Thankfully most of the stuff left over from my first sale was already priced but the other stuff that I had added [yup...I had more stuff] wasn't! Hairgirl had priced most of hers but needed to do more. So we all spent the next couple of hours rushing to get this ready for the 9:00 am start. We also had help from Hairgirl's mom!

Tables had to be found to display all of our stuff. The night before PoD and Hairgirl had placed out all of their tables and we were still short...so PoD's husband [who by way are back together again for a trial period] got to search for some from his place and mine.

Have I ever mentioned before how rushing makes me stressed out and ups the sugar levels which by the way sky rocketed to 24.4...which is not good! High sugar makes me even more crabby! So poor PoD had to keep an eye out for her mom and contend with her own problems. Thankfully her daughter, AJ, is a wonderful helper and is used to our crabbiness...gotta love that girl...she's the greatest!

I have also learned why people who have garage sales are annoyed at the early birds who just have to be the first to shop...this is REALLY ANNOYING WHEN YOUR TRYING TO GET IT ALL DONE BEFORE THE ACTUAL START TIME! This was a very good lesson for me! I happen to be one of those people! But never again!!!!

If you ever want to test your patience in life...have a GARAGE SALE!

Finally we were as ready as we would ever be and the sale started...early-birds and all!

Sales were not too bad and the people coming and going were pretty steady for the first 4 hours and then it started to drag!

No I wasn't able to resist the garage sale urge, so the son-in-law, grand kids and I stole away to do some "Garage Sailing" of our own!

I did pretty good...I purchased a high-back wicker chair that matches my other high-back wicker chair [for my patio ...when I have one], rolling table [for my rock painting], a fancy ceramic canister set [my old ones were always plastic], and a small casserole dish [for the single person eating] from Hairgirl before the sale even started.

In our "Sailing" I got "son-in-law" a "never used" Chicken Rotisserie for his birthday present [which was on May 29] to use while he's away working...see nothing frivolous there.

The only frivolous thing bought was another cute 'cat" teapot for my tea pot collection which was 5.00.

I totally ignored that "demon on my shoulder" who was screaming loudly "you DEFINITELY MIGHT NEED THAT!!!!

I also ran into Wilma's/J-Rods/Tam & Fritz's sale and managed to avoid her "purse fetish" sale...sorry to say that I couldn't justify buying anything there!

Out of 26 sale places I only managed to see about half of them before the heat/too much sunlight/hunger got the best of me and I parted ways from the others and went back to ours!

I also have to mention that this was the worst managed town-wide sale ever! It was like a "last minute" effort! I had volunteered for last year's event and we ran it smoothly so I feel I have the right to complain about this one!

They always have a Bar-B-Q so there is food/drink for the "Sailers"...this was the "suckiest" part of the event! I don't mind paying a high price [4.00] for a hamburger if a person gets a great hamburger with all the trimmings! Lets say tiny pattie [over cooked/under cooked] slice of cheese [same price without cheese], tiny bun [I guess for tiny pattie], catsup & mustard and not to mention a tiny juice box [1.00]....no onions [raw or cooked] or relish.

All of this was managed by 2 people....cashier had a small table which had on it: cash box, napkins, cheese slices, buns, catsup & mustard. The other person was the cook who handed out the over cooked/burnt/under cooked hamburgers and hotdogs...which was okay if you only had 1 to manage...more meant you had to manage a balancing act! Luckily son-in-law and I managed!

The town rec director managed this event so the town got all of the profits from sale...so where were the other town members that should have been helping these two people...maybe they came later and I am griping for nothing?

Finally 4:00 pm came and we could pack up and go home!

What didn't sell was going to the dump....no more Garage Sales for us! Nothing was coming back to my place....I am now happy for my "Clean Sweep"....

AND NO....I WILL NEVER COLLECT JUNK EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

My collectibles were cut down to Owls and Fancy Teapots.....and even those are going to be very selective!!!

I did make a little money [nowhere near to what I spent originally] and got a sunburn to boot!!!!
