GAG ORDER IS STILL IN PLACE...?


Not that I am paranoid or not...like they [blogger demons] are monitoring my posts...;{



I think its still the viruses doing their wonderful "Gremlins" imitation on my computer! I am still having problems...can't blog when I want to and commenting has been even harder! Please have patience....I AM EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES!!!


I hate the words "Data Interrupted" warnings!!!



I NEED BILLYROO! [my computer guru] to come home and talk to this machine that hates me...;(



Anyways......


I have decided to start the year off with more "Darkside Zodiac" by Stella Hyde.


Most out there do not believe in the zodiac representing them and that's their choice. I just find it odd, how true they are [when one sits down and really thinks about it]. Like I said...I agree with the good stuff and now that I know about the bad side of me...I find I'm trying harder to change the ones that I feel I can change.



So......


The non-believers can stop reading right now...it will only bore you more than my stories always do...;}



Anyways....


I have already done mine, which is Aquarius and Gemini's.


Not to just pick on these ones, I will continue with the present one happening right now...Capricorn. Which is Dec 22 to Jan 20 [depending on which book you read]


I would say that I don't know too many of these people closely, so I can't say for sure whether I would agree with her on this zodiac or not. I do remember a not-so-nice, ex-sister-in-law, that it did sound a lot like...so



Remember these are NOT my words!




Capricorn is a feminine, cardinal Earth sign ruled by Saturn. It is the tenth sign on the zodiac wheel, directly opposite Cancer, and is named for the constellation Capricorn [the goat or sea goat] which bleats and backbites behind the Sun at this time of the year.

On the Darkside, this makes you a cold, cruel, petty-minded slave driver with unsuspected yet unquenchable ambition and an addiction to tightfisted penny-pinching.

Annoying habits:

Punctuality...You always arrive 30 minutes early, to impress important people and make underlings feel insecure, unless the inner goat has seized control, when you won't turn up at all because you are busy corrupting innocents.

Toothpaste...always tightly rolled from the bottom up. when its finished you unroll it, cut it open and scrape off the last smears.

Temper Gauge...0 to boiling point in one second [although you have high Latent Tetchiness levels and are easy to rile]. You never forgive a slight and, if shown disrespect, will charge at the offender and headbutt them into a ravine.

Personality...petty, parsimonious, pessimistic, mean, miserly, cruel, cold-hearted, tightfisted, negative, unforgiving...etc.

Bitch Rating...B++ You really don't have the spontaneity to bitch, since it is undignified, but you write excoriating emails and sharply worded letters to the more respected newspapers when you feel your status is being impugned. Your inner goat has no such scruples, however, especially after a few cups of black wine.

Favorite Deadly Sin...Avarice, the sophisticated version of Greed. Your inner goat goes straight for naughty but life-affirming Lust and Gluttony [goats eat anything]

Blame Your Planet...Saturn: stern, stifling and strong willed.



Again, a lot of her predictions have to be calculated with what time of day you were born to calculate everything better. This is just a general get-you-pissed-off-enough to buy the book or email me for more type of post...;(


And NO I don't know her to be pushing her book for her...just that it's a different take on Zodiac interpretation meant for entertainment.


It's my kind of weirdness that makes me do this...;}


I don't run my life by it...;}



Nor do I want to ruin yours!



Anyways...the next one up will be Pisces [Feb 20-Mar 20] which is my older sister's sign and I definitely agree with hers!



I would also like to acknowledge another award from a blogger pal, BJ Roan that I will be doing as soon as I can think of 7 things I haven't blabbed about so far...;} and post to sidebar when I can remember how to do that too...



Keeping my fingers crossed for a repeat posting.....

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW...



Thought I'd show you the creepier side of winter...


Other than the fact that it IS winter that is...

Notice how the camera flashed on the door penguin's face...kind of weird

It even caught part of the face of the one in the snow bank...

Notice the carved edges of the snow banks...

The once fluffy stuff has compacted enough to be able to carve them...

Notice the metal sign stakes that seem to be acting as a snow guard fence [sort of]. I had brilliantly froze them in the ground so they will be stuck there until the thaw. I had planned on putting the lights back up but the electrical plug-in is under all of that crap too! I bent the wires over so no one will impale themselves on them.

In the photo below...see the poor shoveling penguin. His head barely peeks out of the snow near the orange dot [sign to be]

I've even carved a way to the garbage can. I hadn't planned on it, hoping to save some shoveling, only to notice that the meter reader dude has to plow his way through it to get to the meters out back of the house. I did stop at the can though...he's young enough to plow through the 3 feet deep stuff of the rest of it to get to them...:(

Been trying to keep them above the snow fall and have had to lift them out three times already!

So here I sit at my computer composing this.... hoping that shoveling is coming to and end...

The only thing was, it was tied around my brain instead of my mouth!
Here I was crabbing about [to myself & kids] on "why" won't blogger let me blog, when it was the fault of the damn viruses that hit me around Xmas time...nice present NOT! My son was able to fix my computer woes by doing what ever the hell that he does to them...make any sense? I was happy to be able to work again...not that there was too much of that...;( Worst was I couldn't blog! Something he knows nothing about the workings of it so he couldn't say what was wrong! Nor did PoD! I had stories to tell...pictures to show and NOTHING could be done! WHO DO YOU CALL.... Nope....not Ghost Busters...;}

You try and figure it out....yourself! Yup...me got a brain storm...in the middle of our miserable snow storms!

First of all, one has to be able to get on here in the first place...so it wasn't all my fault...;{! All I had to do was read and COMPREHEND what they were saying!

Go figure Huh! Pushing sixty and it's never too late to learn something...;)


Something about changing my settings? I figure it happened then? He has to come back home again [not sure when that will happen] to fix the scary parts that really caused it. I still have a fear of clicking the wrong button so I won't go there! ANYWAYS.... It is way too late after Xmas to want to post the office pictures [unless you beg for them...:}] and believe me I tried to many times and couldn't!


Xmas came and went...we all had fun and were well for a change! The present I played with the most was my new "Game Camera"! Still trying to figure out where to put it. I know for sure that it doesn't work well [the batteries die] in the cold! Great for inside...I have discovered that the cat likes to walk all over places where she's not supposed to be...;} Work has been starting to get busy right now which is strange for a January with me. Normally my slow times are from Xmas to April/May. The town's Centennial is coming up in July and the one who are on the ball are starting now, which is great for me. I hate last minute jobs and have figured that's what will happen...seems I might be wrong One never knows... Main topic around these parts lately it the AMOUNT of snow we have right now... One is aware that it is winter and that we do get snow here... Only thing is, we haven't had THIS MUCH in a LONG time...

This is from ONE of MANY storms we've had lately! It's been shovel, shovel, shovel, shovel.... After one pushes their way out the door....

One just gets finished and it starts all over again!

No these aren't Orbs...just snow and more snow and more snow

I did manage to get Xmas taken down and put away. I left up the pine garland and lights for Valentines...


Which will appear as soon as I get a chance once more...



Not pushing my luck here...
